Shivani is a stage compere, creative producer and voice over-artist by trade and has a real flair in front of the camera. She has been the secret ingredient to loads of great media events and has interviewed some huge stars like Pierce Brosnan, Mischa Barton, Gael Garcia Bernal, Simon Pegg and Gurdas Maan. Her passion for producing quality media turned into the Creative Careers Surgery after she saw a serious lack of inspiring, practical and accessible careers advice for the growing number of young people trying to break into the creative industry in the UK.

Shivani started the Creative Careers Surgery as a local radio show in 2005 at the age of 21. It is now an exciting online service where you can hear over 50 interviews In 13 industry sectors, with the likes of BBC Eastenders Director, MTV presenters and Senior Editor at Harper Collins. She probes the creative industry professionals to share share their careers stories, trade secrets and advice about how they found their way into their creative world. Her aim is to inspire the next creative generation to be prepared and effective to be a success in the creative industries.

With growing support from the creative sector and education and over 42,000 web hits in 2009, Shivani is now in the process of launching new Careers Surgery brands such as the Social Careers Surgery – opening young people up to the world of social enterprise.
